Our New Toy
Eversince our headset went faulty, we've been using this new toy to make calls via the Internet. It's a VOIP (Voice-over Internet Protocol) phone, an awesome gadget to own. Right now, we no longer purchase phone cards in order to call home, i.e. folks and friends in Malaysia. Buying phone cards used to be the only option for us when we were in Canada. However, with so many great technologies easily available nowadays, we mostly rely on Skype-to-Skype service to call home. And if we must get connected to a fixed phone-line, we'll use service provided by Skype as well. Yes, you'll be charged a certain fee, but using Skype is still cheaper than using ordinary phone cards.
Aren't you grateful that you live in a tech-savvy era?
