Hawaiian Papaya
Papaya is considered as something rather unusual in ordinary grocery stores here in North America. But I saw these a few days ago! I was so tempted to buy, but look at the price! US$5 for 3 papayas ... I think with RM5 I can get almost a kilogram of them.
Homesickness does come with a price tag.

Sniff! Poor things - come home quickly as we have loads of those solo papayas.

mamabok, hmm, perhaps you need a trip. go Toronto or somewhere where Chinatown is available, and where Chinese food is cheap.

i eat them papayas, mangoes and honeydew melon nearly everyday after lunch.... mmmmm....
