Cucumber and mixed berries smoothies.

It was an adventurous trial. But it turned out to be great, and believe it or not, I am loving it greatly! I love the freshness of cucumber, together with the mixed berries in the yoghurt. What a great combination! I think this smoothies can serve as a great breakfast as it will provide you the fibre, the probiotics, and the nutrition from dairy products. What a great way to have a good head start.

It's really easy. This is what I'll normally do:

(Below ingredients are good for 2 servings)

half a cucumber (coarsely sliced)
1 cup of yoghurt (I prefer berry flavour, all sorts of berries)
1/4 cup of ice
1/2 cup of water.

Put everything in a blender, blend them under the option of 'Liquefy' for 20 sec.
Then, you're good to go!

Yes, that's great breakfast.

Cucumber, carrot & beet makes a great smoothie. Why dont you make ur own yogurt? It's really delicious with fresh fruits/veggies.

maria ... glad to see you back-in-action. ;)

mamabok, cucumber is great for juices leh, why euwk? haha. it's not zucchini, but cucumber, ya know? shouldn't be disguting ... really. do give it a try if you can. =)

babe, yeah, i agree with you.

samm, thanks for the tip. yeah, carrot and beet. making my own yoghurt? hmm, i'm quite skeptical in this ... as a microbiology graduate, i don't believe home-making yoghurt as much as things might go wrong all along ... one might be having nasty bacteria if the hygienity is done poorly. it is tough to ensure the quality of yoghurt.

glu, yeah hoh, maybe that is something good for the complexion too. thanks for reminding me! =)

shiaulin, yeah, it's really easy, only take you 1 min, perhaps even lesser than that. have fun!
